Cooper Reed pictured here, now a healthy and vibrant three year
old, born at 32 weeks on Jan. 30, 2004 at the Kootenay Boundary
Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. A huge thanks to the excellent
care and 24/7 attention provided by Dr. Ukpeh and his team of
exceptional medical professionals on the Neo-natal team at the hospital.

Winter quest is an achievable multi-sport adventure
race, created by an experienced team of people passionate about
children, leadership and the outdoors. It is designed to promote
and support the life saving role that hospital nurseries and neo-natal
units play in the lives of our children and therefore our own.
